The Port Orange Regional Library is located at the City Center Municipal Complex. Itís a part of the Volusia County Public Library System, one of six regional branches of the county-wide network of libraries. The first library in Port Orange was dedicated in 1984 and located in a storefront in the Riverwood Shopping Center. In 1985, it was moved to the second floor of the City Hall, which is located at the City Center Complex. By 1996, there was a growing demand from the residents of Port Orange for more services. So, the library moved into a new 25,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility.
